Can you work from photos?
Yes I can work from your photos as long as they are of a reasonable quality. Photos can be emailed to me or shared via google, dropbox or other photo sharing site.

Can I request a custom size for a commissioned piece?
Yes. The sizes I list are standard sizes but I am happy to create work in any size.

How long does it take to complete a commission?
The timeframe for completing a commission varies depending on the size, medium and complexity of the piece.

Oil Paintings: take about 2 - 6 weeks to paint and another week or two for the painting to dry before it can be framed or shipped. If it's a large painting it can take up to 3 months to complete. If the painting needs framing that will take another couple of days once the frame arrives.

Watercolours: take a week or two to paint. If it's going to be framed that takes a couple of days once the frame arrives.

Resin And Acrylic Glass: are very variable. The processes involved are more complex and time consuming. Resin pieces need time to cure between layers. If you are thinking of a resin or acrylic glass piece then do contact me for a chat. Once I see what you have in mind I can give you a clearer idea of timescales.

Can I request a specific animal or bird, even if I don’t have photos?
If you'd like a specific animal, like a fox or a hare, but you don’t have photos I can still create a painting for you. If you are looking for a painting of a specific individual, but you don’t have photos, that can be harder. Contact me to have a chat and I can tell you if its possible.
 

How much does shipping cost?
If you are in the UK shipping is free.
International shipping costs varies depending on where you are in the world. We will discuss the cost of shipping  when we work together on your commission brief.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes I do. I ship internationally using tracked services.

Can you frame the painting for me?
Yes, for an additional cost I can frame the painting for you.
I am happy to ship framed paintings internationally. However, it's expensive to ship larger framed paintings outside the UK and they will have to come via a courier service. Or I can help you look for frames closer to home for your painting, for example on sites like etsy. It can also be fun frame shopping together.

Does it come with a certificate of authenticity?
Yes it does. You'll get a certificate with each painting.

Can I pay in instalments?
Yes you can pay a 50% deposit to secure your place on my commission waiting list, the outstanding amount is paid upon completion, prior to delivery
