Portrait Of Kev And Evie Awake - Sold

I had been buying Christmas Cards from Denise Laurent for a few years and when our beloved puss Kev passed away in November 2019 I was interested to read that she painted commissioned pieces as well. I thought this would be a lovely way to remember Kev with his sister Evie so contacted Denise. After trawling through many photos of them both I settled on two to be painted - one of them asleep and one awake. Denise kept in contact regularly with updates of the sketches heading towards the final painting. I received the final paintings just the other week and was more than delighted with them. She has captured them beautifully and moved me to tears (again). This one of them "Awake" perfectly captured Kev's dopey but gorgeous little face (background) and Evie in the foreground. We rescued these two as kittens in Egypt and brought them back to the UK when we relocated four years ago. Kev had a lovely life and its so nice to have this to remember him by. The paintings are beautiful and once framed will be a perfect reminder of Kev and his sister. I received excellent service throughout from Denise and cannot recommend her highly enough.
