Missy the cat and Biggie the dog are the best of friends, always cuddled up together, sharing naps and nose boops. I loved painting this pair! Their bond is so sweet and full of trust, and I wanted to capture that gentle closeness in their portrait.

It’s a 16x12 inch oil painting on board, and I framed it in a 20x16 inch shadowbox so they appear to float just above the soft background. It gives the piece a lovely sense of depth and calm, which feels just right for these two snuggly souls. Don’t they look adorable? 😊
