This lively little tabby is frozen mid-zoom... full of speed, mischief and pure feline flair. She always reminds me of Chi, our own tiny whirlwind who used to rocket around the living room like he had urgent business. I wanted to capture that burst of joy, the colourful whoosh of a cat racing past simply because it feels good.

She’s painted in watercolour on beautiful handmade paper with natural deckle edges. Soft washes of green, pink, blue, purple and warm orange flow through her stripes and spots, giving the piece a wonderful sense of movement and life.
