This joyful tabby is caught mid-zoom, all speed, mischief and pure fun. She reminds me so much of Chi, our tabby whirlwind, who used to rocket around the living room like a cat on a mission. I wanted to capture that rush of happiness – the colourful whoosh of a cat flying past simply because it feels good. 

Painted in watercolour on beautiful handmade paper with natural deckle edges, soft washes of green, pink, blue, purple and warm orange ripple through her stripes and spots. The colours give her a real sense of movement and life, finished with delicate gold whiskers that catch the light.
